RESEARCH:  CBTF has funded state-of-the-art research and supported conferences for pediatric brain tumors over the past 15 years.  Grants submissions are reviewed carefully by our dedicated renown team of scientific advisors to ensure that CBTF selects the highest quality research.  Our process is based on NIH review standards, led by Dr. Roger J. Packer, Founding Advisor.  Advisors are assigned applications to ensure there are no conflicts of interest.  Our dedicated advisors voluntarily review, score and summarize each application; hold a teleconference call to discuss the applications; and make recommendations to CBTF.  The CBTF Board discusses the recommendations and overall review summaries and comments before voting on which applications will be selected for funding.  Each year, we receive so many outstanding applications and it is through the support of private and public donations this is all possible.
We are accepting targeted funds for specialized interests for understudied pediatric brain tumors.
