Carol Cornman, Vice President of the Childhood Brain Tumor Foundation, lends her leadership skills to the organization. Each year family, friends, and supporters join Carol and her daughters in celebrating the memory of her husband Geoff Cornman, a victim of a brain tumor many years ago. Carol graduated from the Penn State University with a degree in business and marketing. She believes in the CBTF mission to help raise money for pediatric brain tumor research. Her goal is to help improve the prognosis outcomes of those children diagnosed with brain tumors. Ultimately lending to a better quality of life for those families affected by childhood brain tumors.
Carol also started a Veteran Employment program in 2015 to help assist our Veterans and families in finding jobs. Her mission, “From Deployment to Employment”. The program has received prominent recognition from former Governor Terry Mcauliffe, Michelle Obama and Jill Biden in gratitude for those who have been helped.
With over 20 years of executive leadership experience in the IT service industry, she maintains the ability to build and motivate strategic teams that are focused on delivering quality. She believes that as long as a team is passionate about their mission, success will follow. Her creativity coupled with her epic business ability ensures that she is called on to master superior success with any challenge faced.
It is with great pride that Carol’s” life balance” comes from her devotion to her family, coupled with her volunteer efforts in helping to make progress in the support of others.
